Katwa Group was established in 1993. Mr. H. D. Katwa, a visionary and a statesman, promoted a cement industry and led Katwa Group into being respectable corporate house. Later the group, under his able leadership ventured into Non-Banking Finance and Construction and Information technology.

Katwa Udyog Limited, the flagship company of the Group, is into manufacturing and selling Portland Cement. The initial public offer in 1995 was over subscribed by 12 times.

Later in 1995, Katwa Construction Company was established with its office located in Goa, India. This company is engaged in Construction of huge apartment complexes and marketed in Gulf and Middle East countries.

In 1996, Katwa group ventured into Non-Banking finance activities with the establishment of Katwa Finlease Limited. Today, this company is a leading finance company in Belgaum City with 100% recovery and registered with Reserve Bank of India.

With the sound management system and encouraging HR policies, the management ventured into information technology industry and Katwa Infotech was formed in December 1998. The main object of this industry was to develop software, E-commerce, M-commerce and provide solutions to the health care industries
